Fire Ground Workflow

When I am assigned a new Rookie Firefighter, I stress... and stress... the need to develop good fire ground workflows, aka habits. 

Whether cutting a plug, bunking out, or pulling up at a working structure fire, having a standardized way of doing things is essential if you want to create that “slow is smooth, smooth is fast” trait we’re all chasing after. 

Rick will give you a fifty thousand-foot view of his basic workflow every time he makes a box. It breaks down into the simple acronym P.C.P.
